Joshua Sherman’s professional experiences and titles are wide-ranging: CEO, Producer, Director, Writer, Lyricist, Publisher, Journalist, Theatrical Designer, Archivist, Real Estate Developer, and Physician.
Arts Career Highlights include:
• Founding the NAMM TEC® Award-Winning Old Mill Road Recording Studio, which was also EMMY® Award Nominated (Feature by John Gray).
• Producing music, theater, live events, TV, and digital media featuring dozens of Tony®, Emmy®, Grammy® and Oscar® Winners.
• Serving as CEO of Old Mill Road Media, which currently publishes Berkshire Magazine. He is the former Owner/Publisher of Vermont Magazine, Stratton Magazine, Manchester Life, The Guide, and Music in the Berkshires.
• Being mentored by such legendary artists as Al Hirschfeld, Peter Harvey, Santo Loquasto, Willa Kim, and Tony Walton.
• Commissioning and developing new works, including Antonio’s Song, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Dael Orlandersmith and Antonio Edwards Suarez, which was most recently produced by Milwaukee Repertory Theater and The Goodman Theatre.
• Collaborating with Benjamin Lerner on the National CLEAN Campaign, making a difference in the opioid epidemic through words and music.
• Conducting in-depth interviews with icons of music, theater, and business as a celebrity journalist.
Joshua is a GRAMMY® voter, a former board member of The Al Hirschfeld Foundation, and the current President/Treasurer of 1761 Arts, a non-profit focused on artist development.
